Blackout Blinds

Whilst working on the same operational principle as a roller blind, dim out blinds offer a reduction of light level where the requirement is not necessarily complete blackout, i.e. for presentations or VDU screens. In contrast, blackout blinds are specifically designed for laboratories or operating theatres where a high degree of light exclusion is essential. Blackout blinds use totally opaque fabric and are fully enclosed in side channels.

Insect Screens

To meet food and hygiene regulations, Insect Screens are designed to combat the entry of insects into commercial food preparation areas where windows are opened to the outside environment. Whilst essentially designed for this function, it is also necessary for the screens to be moveable for opening and closing with seals that remain insect proof. Insect Screens are available in a variety of designs to suit all locations, i.e. flat hinged, fixed screens, sliding, roll up, roll aside and self-closing doors.
